We went to visit our alma mater for Picnic Day this weekend. It was the first time either of us had been back since we graduated. We had a blast. Anna has now officially milked her first cow, and held her first lab rat. The lab rat “display” was geared toward teaching kids that lab animals are useful, helpful etc. Sort of the “anti-PETA” I think. What was funny was that the website they choose was kids4research.com – so it made it sound a little like they were proposing research ON kids instead of lab rats. Or maybe that's just how MY warped sense of humor took it...
